Day two: Things have seemed to taken a turn for the worst, I'm afraid. After a night of resting she approached me again, this time in a very nasty manner. I could see by her body language she was afraid, but she was acting touch. I made slow but steady movements to kneel to the ground, showing her I was not a threat to her by making myself smaller. Hopefully I'll be able to write another entry after this.
